Come join us for the Profound Autism 5k Walk and Run Adventure at the Zoo!
We are excited to be at the beautiful Franklin Park Zoo, in Boston, MA! Our course is entirely within the Zoo. A quarter mile inclusive Fun Run will kick off our event, followed by the 5k run or walk. This 5k course is two laps, allowing walkers the ability to opt for a shorter or full length experience. The 5K run will include awards for top finishers by category.
Join us on June 2, 2024, at Franklin Park Zoo, Boston, MA, as we come together for a day of fun and to support individuals with Profound Autism.
Timeline:
7:00 AM –Registration and Bib Pick-up (Nature’s Pavilion)
8:00 AM - Warm-up Activities
8:30 AM* – 0.25 mile Inclusive Fun Run for Kids
8:45 AM – 5K RACE STARTS - Runners
8:50 AM – Walkers Start
(9:00 AM – Zoo Opens to Public)
10:00 AM – Awards Ceremony (Nature’s Pavilion)
*8:30 AM to 1:00 PM – Explore the Zoo and enjoy Family Fun Day with a variety of activities for all ages!
Whether you decide to join as part of a team or solo, as a volunteer, or as part of the cheer squad, we are so grateful for your support!
Our goal -- to help give those with Profound Autism the ability to achieve their full potential and to provide hope for their families -- would not be possible without you!
So come to walk or run and stay to enjoy the Zoo and time with the Profound Autism community!
All registrants will receive Zoo passes for the day.
We have the Zoo's 'Nature’s Pavilion' area dedicated for our Event.
*Please note that all guests who would like to participate or attend will need to register to be able to enter the zoo/event.
This event is hosted by Nashoba Learning Group and all proceeds will benefit those with Profound Autism .
